Making an impact with moving pictures

Documentary filmmaking is a natural extension of travel journalism and the film “Making Waves from Cleveland to Uganda” is the result of a three-year collaboration with the Cleveland-based non-profit organization Drink Local Drink Tap and LESS Productions. The film documents DLDT’s first grass-roots campaign to bring a clean water source to a rural village in Uganda. It received an Honorable Mention at the 2013 International Film Festival on Peace, Inspiration and Equality in Jakarta, Indonesia.
