Local teacher Teddy Mwonyonyi and Erin Huber, the director of Drink Local Drink Tap were featured on Cleveland news channel WEWS this week talking about the trip to Uganda we’ll be taking this summer. The goal of the trip is to help raise awareness (and funds) to build a well in a small community in the Luweero District, and assemble a team of locals to oversea and maintain the well upon completion. If enough funds are raised by this fall, the project can be completed by this time next year [Update here].

NewsNet5 will also host a trip blog on its website that we’ll be updating periodically during the trip.

If you’re interested in contributing to the fundraising effort, please visit drinklocaldrinktap.org for more information on how you, your church or your employer can get involved.
